Individuals who have been charged guilty of criminal activities may still be allowed to enter Canada depending on certain circumstances- the crime committed, how long ago it was and how the accused has behaved since then. Such individuals may be granted entry if:

  • they have applied for rehabilitation and gotten an approval

  • they obtain a temporary resident permit
